EPCOT
The next themepark we went to was EPCOT, it’s an abbreviation for Experimental Prototype Community Of Technology. The first ride we went on was called Spaceship Earth. It was kind of like a really slow roller coaster but it had moving people [made out of rubber & fibreglass] from caveman to now, using communication. Then we went to a ride called Test Track. It was a really good ride but there was something wrong, we had to wait an hour and twenty minutes. But apart from that it was a really good ride.Next we went to mission space, it was a space craft ride to Mars. I was the Pilot Dad was the Navigator and two other people were the Commander and the Engineer. The pod did twists and turns to match the T.V. screen in front. The G forces were awesome [Mr. P will tell you about them.] There were heeps more rides but too much to tell. then the day ended with a Brilliant fire work display, with a humungus globe in the middle of the lake. I liked the finale the best!
see ya, Patrick!

Hi Patrick,
It sounds like you are having a fantastic time. I loved Disney World and all the parks that you can visit. I still have a ticket for 2 days that I can use in the future - I need to visit again! I went on the Space Mountain ride in 1998 and thought it was the most scary ride I had ever been on. When I visited again in 1999 I wondered if my fear had been exaggerated. So I went on it again just to test it. But alas! No….it was STILL just as scary. I could wait for the ride to end! I really loved the Animal Kingdom.
I hope you are having agreat time catching up with your friends. We are all envious about your trip …. and about the good weather you will be enjoying. It is still VERY cold here. Have fun!

Hi Pat,
It sounds like the EPCOT theme park thing was fab. Shame about the Test Track ride. There was a bit of a problem! Is it HOT, HOT, HOT, over there? We sort of miss you. But as I said in my last comment we don’t miss you saying…. Can we do MATHS, MATHS, MATHS Mr Pearce?
