Hi guys, the next park we went to was a water park called Blizzard Beach. It was like a snow ski resort with fake snow decorating every where. There was also a giant slide called Summit Plummit, it was nearly a vertical drop and my dad reached 87kph, [54mph], but I didn’t go on it! There were also heaps of Awesome slides for me.

This was fantastic, the best park out of them all [well that’s what I thought.] Lots of shows but also lots of wild animals just how I like it. They had a huge zoo where you walked around and saw heeps of animals. But my favourite animal was the gorilla, we saw the zoo keepers feed the gorillas with some food on a frisbee I also found out that a gorilla is a vegetarian and one of their favourite veges is corn on the cob!
Now, back to those shows, one of my favourites was the Lion King show, it had lots of people dancing with costumes and four awesome monkeys doing a trampoline act. Then we went to the 3D Bugs Life film, but it was more than just watching it through the glasses, water, stench and wind came at your face!
Then, at the end of the day, it was time, for the MEGA SCARY BIGGEST THING YOU’VE EVER SEEN MT EVEREST ROLLER COASTER! We got into a long train like carriage, first we went round and round in circles then we went up a really steep hill and went into a tunnel in the mountain, in the mountain it was nearly pitch black and suddenly we came out of the mountain and went down, down, down nearly vertical! Then we came back into the mountain and then stopped, I looked forward and the tracks were BROKEN!!!!!! Then, suddenly, we started moving backwards, we got faster and faster and faster. Then we started going up the hill again, when we got up to the top we quickly changed to going forwards and went round and round in pitch black, then we found the YETI AND HE NEARLY GRABED MY HEAD! Then the ride finally came to a stop. [At the end I could hardly walk!] And after all that I officially call it my NUMBER 1 PARK!

The next themepark we went to was EPCOT, it’s an abbreviation for Experimental Prototype Community Of Technology. The first ride we went on was called Spaceship Earth. It was kind of like a really slow roller coaster but it had moving people [made out of rubber & fibreglass] from caveman to now, using communication. Then we went to a ride called Test Track. It was a really good ride but there was something wrong, we had to wait an hour and twenty minutes. But apart from that it was a really good ride.Next we went to mission space, it was a space craft ride to Mars. I was the Pilot Dad was the Navigator and two other people were the Commander and the Engineer. The pod did twists and turns to match the T.V. screen in front. The G forces were awesome [Mr. P will tell you about them.] There were heeps more rides but too much to tell. then the day ended with a Brilliant fire work display, with a humungus globe in the middle of the lake. I liked the finale the best!

The first day at Disney World was at Typhoon Lagoon [it’s a water park.] It was full with water slides and a huge wave pool! My favourite water slide was the Humunga Kowabanga, it is a 5 stories high and nearly vertical [and I’m not exaggerating!]
This is the web site for it.

Hi Patrick, Sue, Richard and everyone else enjoying this blog. I just thought that I should alert non-school friends of Patrick that Patrick’s classmates are avid readers of this blog, especially the comments :). Speaking of the comments, you might also be wondering why the comments do not appear straight away. That is because I am moderating and reviewing the comments before making them available on the blog. This is standard practice with our school based blogs as a safeguard against any innapropriate comments being posted.
PS how’s the maths going Pat???

Oh No! There’s no personal video screen on the plane, what am I going to do for 20hrs! Eat, sleep and listen to music, it was a very long journey. But when we got off the last plane, it was a relief to see Sue, Cam and Ian. The villa is great, the pool is fantastic and it’s hot.
